The secrets to become an administrative genius - how to streamline your landscape company
Since 1952, Impullitti Landscaping, Inc. has built a reputation on quality and innovation within the landscape industry. Wayne Impullitti, president, is the third generation of his family to head one of North America's most successful and largest landscape companies and has hand-selected the right team members to help grow and control their growth. One of those key staff members is Sherry Watts, who has been with Impulliti for over 20 years and is the Administrative Director. In this episode of the Landscape Disruptors Podcast, Sherry shares her expertise on administration creativity and the organizational skills required to manage a company, and insight on operations and how they have streamlined their company processes over the years.
Sherry Watts is the Director of Administration for Impullitti Landscaping, a full-service design-build, maintenance and commercial snowplow company servicing Northeast Ohio. For the past 20 years, she has been instrumental in managing the day-to-day administrative functions of the office and has been an integral part of the overall company growth which has included the acquisition of 5 companies over a 6 year period and employee growth from 25 employees to over 100. It was due to this rapid growth of the company that led Sherry and her team to implement the LMN program which has greatly increased their overall office efficiency and general operations. The implementation was so successful that the company was able to grow substantially without the need to hire more office staff. Sherry’s attention to detail, organization and communication skills have helped her to successfully lead and manage her team. Sherry has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from John Carroll University and is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management.
